Deinking of waste paper is usually carried out in a hydro pulper in intermittent operation. To obtain good deinking effect, must consider the following process conditions:
(i) Charging sequence
Drugs must be added first into the hot water of the pulper and dissolved before adding the waste paper, otherwise the ink particles in the process of dissociating the fibres may enter into the fibres and cannot be suspended out, thus reducing the deinking effect.
(ii) humidity
Depending on the nature of the waste paper and the chemicals used, the low temperature is about 40~60℃, and the high temperature is about 80~90℃. Appropriate increase in temperature can promote ink dispersion, and easy to remove. Especially book paper, its ink generally contains asphalt components, when lower than 80 ℃, it is not easy to disperse detachment, resulting in the pulp of small pieces of paper and black spots increase.
(C) time
The longer the time, the better the waste paper and ink dispersion. However, too long a time is an increase in power consumption, lower output, and the fibres after deconcentration have the possibility of being dyed by the pigment.
Deinking time is usually 1 ~ 1.5 hours per pool of pulp or longer, for sizing, filling more and paper amber waste paper, such as painting newspaper, much faster than the book cream paper.
